Creating Systems that work with your brain,
Not against it.
Meet Deena
I have supported the neurodivergent community for over nine years. I started in high school supporting in special education classes and after school tutoring, then working as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. I have spent the last six years specializing in Executive Function coaching. Having worked inside school systems, private practices, and family homes, I partner with students, adults, women, and queer individuals to structure their time, organize their spaces, and build systems that actually work for their brains and lives.
I hold a B.S. in Speech Science and Psychology and am completing my Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) in order deliver the highest standard of evidence-based support.
My goal is to support families, women, and queer individuals, especially those who are self-diagnosed, in creating intuitive, functional systems that align with their goals. I have experience working with people who have non-linear brains for a multitude of reasons not limited to ADHD, autism, dyslexia, anxiety, and OCD.
Outside of work, you’ll find me embroidering photos, country line dancing, planning trips around the world, and exploring new recipes from scratch- my current obsessions are kombucha and sourdough
My Approach
My coaching is grounded, compassionate, and firmly rooted in consent-based learning. I believe that meaningful progress only occurs when someone has complete ownership over your goals. I offer a warm and inviting approach to students while holding them accountable. As a patient and clear communicator with students and parents alike, I use creative approaches to build strong connections. I believe in empowering people towards independence and giving them the necessary support before working on their own.
Together, we examine the external pressures of school, work, and family dynamics to separate what is truly within your control from what isn't, removing the shame around how you function.
Instead of forcing you into rigid, one-size-fits-all productivity templates, we build custom internal systems that align with your unique cognitive strengths and daily energy levels. We focus on practical skills around planning, system creation, and self-advocacy, giving you the tools to navigate challenges with independence and confidence.
We create supportive structures so your creativity and purpose can flow more freely. If you’ve spent your life feeling like you are constantly pushing against the current, this work is about learning how to move with it.
"Deena is a treasure! She worked with our son for four years, starting in Grade 8, and persisted with us through both good and tough times.
There were days when he did not feel up to attending sessions on screen, and she patiently worked with him over the phone, continually engaging him in developing skills to address cognitive inflexibility, black and white thinking, other executive functioning challenges as well as high levels of anxiety and procrastination, in the context of ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, written output disorder, giftedness and perfectionism.
She was kind and understanding with the challenges that we encountered as parents and this was very helpful to us in addressing our own anxieties and concerns about how things would unfold for our son. We are really grateful to have had the benefit of her skillful expertise and patient kindness.”
